From August 23rd to August 27th, the Seventh Annual Prague Shakuhachi Festival will be held at the HAMU Academy of Music and Dance in the beautiful city of Prague. The five days of the festival will include 12 concerts, three listening sessions (Japanese and world music), workshops on every level for shakuhachi, shamisen, koto, workshops for breathing and song/language, body relaxation, daily practice exercises and numerous lectures on the history and application of shakuhachi and Japanese music.
