PRAGUE SHAKUHACHI FESTIVAL, 2014
From August 22rd to August 26th, the Eigth Annual Prague Shakuhachi Festival will be held at the HAMU Academy of Music and Dance in the beautiful city of Prague. The five days of the festival will include numerous concerts, lectures (Japanese and world music), workshops on every level for shakuhachi, shamisen, koto, and workshops for breathing, body relaxation, and daily practice exercises. This is an excellent opportunity to experience some of the world’s best and diverse shakuhachi teachers/performers in a very romantic and historical venue.
This year will also feature workshops and concerts of the theremin.
